 Womb Medicine Yoga Teacher Training

 Next course starts January 2026

The Womb Medicine Yoga Teacher Training combines Yoga, Ayurveda & Embodied Womb Wisdom offering a more feminine approach to Yoga. Coming back into sacred relationship with your body through cyclical living is central to this training.

Yoga & Ayurveda

Yoga is a spiritual practice designed to relieve spiritual suffering , Ayurveda is a medical science designed to address the health of body, mind, sences & soul.

Yoga & Ayurveda combined can work to enhance our quality of life. When we feel well, we feel inspired & we can connect with what makes our lives meaningful. We have the energy & enthusiasm to fulfil our dreams. It is possible to feel well for the whole of the monthly menstrual cycle, this is not only possible but it’s what’s natural.  Yoga & Ayurveda can help to shift your experience of pain into power. Yoga & Ayurveda are inherently feminine in that they bring us into direct relationship & attune us to the ever moving & turning cycles within our breath, body, nature & the celestial energies.

Womb Wisdom & Female Health

Both Yoga & Ayurveda specify practices that are suited to the different phases of menstrual cycle, as we move through each month we experience shifts in our energy levels & hormones, it makes sense that we would need to alter our yoga practice & our daily life with what’s happening in our bodies. How Yoga impacts our body depends where we are in our cycle.  This is vital information for women teaching & practicing Yoga that respects the changing needs to the Female Body

Yoga & Ayurveda are sister sciences designed to be practised together.  Yoga alone can not serve to address womens health issues. This is the job of ayurveda. Yoga is a practice of spiritual development,  Ayurveda is a medical science designed to address health issues. To address women’s health, we need to power of yoga & ayurveda combined.

This is the medicine required for these times, women empowered with knowledge around their own bodies, women who refuse to continue living in the dark & feeling powerless in the face of female health issues, this training is intended to serve women of all ages in reclaiming the truth that they hold the keys to their own inner radiance health, wisdom & vitality.

Women feeling good in their own bodies, alive, inspired & ready to shine bright is the necessary foundation needed for true feminine empowerment

On return to Ireland at 27 she set up Earthwise Yoga.  Alongside this she has completed many trainings in Yoga, Womb Healing, Dance, Sacred Sexuality & Healing.  Rachel Jackson trained as an Ayurvedic and Lifestyle Therapist with the European Institute of Vedic Studies under Vaidya Atreya Smith. I received a certificate of Advanced Clinical Study in Ayurveda from the Vinayak Ayurveda and Panchakarma Research Foundation in Nagpur, India in 2011. I made several return trips to Nagpur to further my training in Ayurvedic treatments, including a four week internship assisting with Panchakarma. My primary interest and passion in Ayurveda has always been woman’s health and to expand in this, I completed the “Healthier Hormones” course with Dr. Claudia Welch. Following completion of this course, I uccessfully completed a Mentorship program with Dr. Welch to further expand my studies on woman’s health. I am committed to helping women understand their sacred, cyclical natures and returning to health and balance by working with their own bodies. I created the Women’s Health package to empower my female clients to understand how their bodies and hormones work, so they can take their health back into their own hands.

Testimonials

Jessica Paget

I have just completed the Womb Medicine Yoga Teacher Training with Clara from Earthwise Yoga. To say I have been on a journey would be an understatement. There have been many ups and downs in the last 10 months, but having this training every month felt like a call back to inner peace. The weekends at Earthwise felt like a homecoming, a remembrance of something we’ve all forgotten. Which is our deeply intuitive connection to our bodies, and its knowledge. There is a lot of information in this training, combining Yoga, Ayurveda and Womb Wisdom, but it all ties together beautifully. Having only just begun to learn about my menstrual cycle in the last two years, the information regarding women’s health and the womb’s significance in women’s lives is something that we should all know. It is also beautiful to be able to adjust your Yoga asana practice to support your cycle, reminding us that we are not small men, we are women. Knowing, and being able to work with and honour the rhythms of our bodies is such a beautiful and empowering way to reclaim our power. As women the connection to our wombs has been deeply severed, and this training course helps us to begin to heal that connection and come back into harmony with our bodies, our cycles, and ourselves. Ayurveda is very supportive of this and the practice of Dinacharya (daily routine), is the perfect introduction to reclaiming our womb health and coming back to working with the rhythms of our bodies.
I thought I would be learning how to teach yoga for women, but I have learned so much more, and I realise the more I learn, the less I know. Which draws me deeper into this work.
Clara teaches this course with so much passion and lived experience, I can’t wait to train with her again and deepen my knowledge even more. I would highly recommend this course, not just to those wishing to become Yoga Teachers, but to every woman. Learning how our bodies work and reconnecting with our wombs is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and this world, and is long overdue.
Thank you Clara.
